Are you The Lover?

The Lover is one of the masculine archetypal energies explained in Robert Moore‘s Book called “King, Warrior, Magician, Lover”.

Inside he explains the energies of each of these archetypes as well as their shadow.

I highly recommend to all men on a conscious development path to delve into these energies to better understand how each one of them plays a role in your life.

The ultimate goal is to embody the Benevolent King, however our world deeply needs the Lover to also be called forth!

Men have struggled throughout history tapping into the lover archetype. This is because we live in a patriarchal society that is guided by narrow standards of what it is to be a man. And most of what we have seen throughout history of what it means to be a man has been led in the shadow masculine.

The lover is vivid, passionate and alive. The lover is deeply sensual and sensually aware of the physical world and all of its splendor. Being compassionate and united with all life around him. He sees life through the eyes of a grain of sand. He wants to be touched emotionally and physically. To feel the joy and the pain in life and live in its totality.

When we can be fully present without expectation to perform we are accessing the lover. It is the moment when you are sitting on the beach and the breeze kisses your face and you feel fully alive. The world freezers in that moment and time stand still.

To access The Lover we must also access the divine mother. Which sometimes represents our own mother. Healing past wounds or trama we are able to see how a mother figure showed love to us. Or if you did not have a mother growing up a feminine role model or inner feminine energy needs to be looked at. The Divine Mother is love and compassion and knows she is the creator of all life. And sees every living thing as her children.

When we are disconnected from the lover we slip into one of the shadow side known as the dreamer. Instead of engaging in joyful activities we can find oneself feeling disconnected and slip into our own fantasies. Ostracizing ourselves from the loving expressions in humanity. The other side of the Shadow lover is known as the impotent lover. Which is a sense of lack of emotion and aliveness. Feeling cut off from yourself and others and alienated. We've become detached from our emotional body and tend to lean more into the warrior to protect ourselves from feeling emotionally vulnerable.

Accessing the lover makes us feel connected, alive and romantic about life. Seeing playfulness and joy in every aspect of life. The lover is guidance for the warrior, magician and the king. For the lover is emotion, feeling, idealism, and sensuality and seeks them out in every encounter. To open up and use all of your senses in all areas of your life and experience as many dimensions of life as possible, as often as possible. The lover understands that there are no good or bad emotions. And are able to have compassion for themselves and others when difficult emotions arise. Tapping into this archetype will fuel you spiritually and bring more creativity and passion into your life.
